Excellent Exercise Rehab Programs and Orthotics

Exercise Rehab Programs and Custom Orthotics Just for You

After an injury or a surgery, exercise rehab and custom-fit orthotics can help your body heal quicker. Get in touch with Loveland Chiropractic today. In conjunction with chiropractic care, our personalized programs will encourage you to get back up on your feet again.

Your initial visit will begin with a thorough case history, evaluation, and examination. In most cases, you will be adjusted on the first visit to help get you started on the road to recovery. Follow-up visits will be scheduled as necessary, based on your diagnosis.

The duration of the chiropractic care will be dependent on the severity of your injury and on you as well. The sooner we can treat your injury, the less time it will take. In most cases, we expect to see 30 - 50% improvement after 6 visits. If the goal is not met, we will reevaluate, change treatment plans, or send you for diagnostic testing.

Cracking and Noncracking Chiropractic Techniques

When a joint is being manipulated, it can make a "popping" noise caused by the fluid inside some joints. The fluid is composed of dissolved gas, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen. Manipulating a joint causes the gas in the fluid to form a bubble and pop. The noise itself is not necessary for the manipulation to be effective; it's simply a sound of the joint releasing from its restricted state.

You don't have to have your back "popped." Adjustments create motion in the joint. We look for joints that lack normal motion. These can cause pain in the area as well as above or below in some cases. If you prefer, we can use "non-cracking" techniques, particularly if you respond better to them.

What is Chiropractic?

Doctors of Chiropractic (D.C.) are nonsurgical spine specialists who assess and manage patients with neuromusculoskeletal disorders and related clinical conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headache, and extremity complaints. The primary focus is on spinal and extremity adjusting and other physical modalities.

In most cases, the doctor can make your diagnosis from your medical history and examination. Other times, we might have to refer you out for other diagnostic tools.

Your good health is our top priority. Allow us to put together a personalized rehab plan that is geared toward your specific needs.

While regular adjustments are not always necessary, in particular cases they can be recommended. Follow-up of treatment is very important. Exercises, for example, can prevent recurrences of pain.
